Royal Decree-Law 4/2023, published in BOE No. 113, incorporates labour and Social Security measures, amending Royal Decree 486/1997 to establish minimum Health and Safety provisions in workplaces, especially those related to extreme temperatures in outdoor work.

In Catalonia, 11/07/21 was the first day with orange/red alert warnings in several areas where we have clients who may be doing work outdoors. For example, according to Meteocat there is a Danger Warning from 12h to 18h. The link from where they offer the information is the following: : https://www.meteo.cat/prediccio/general,

AEMET gives the notices in https://www.aemet.es/es/eltiempo/prediccion/avisos. They give them for the next 3 days, and offers them hour by hour. As you will see, the color of the alerts does not coincide exactly for the same regions with those offered by the regional service, Meteocat.

According to the regulations, the values to be adopted are those of the regional service, but from ERGASIA we suggest also using AEMET to be able to check the warnings for the following days. For example, in this particular case, we can verify that for Wednesday 12/07 or for thursday 13/07 there would no longer be orange alert at any time in any region of Catalonia.
